The zamindar Mukherjee of Kangana was very clever, he tried to take all the land from poor farmers, and as a result, he did the same with Mahabharat. Nutu revolted against the zamindars and sue them. He took his law gown and helped Mahabharat to win the case. As a result Nutu became famous and within few years and won the election. Power helped him become more corrupted, but his elder son and wife Bimala fought against him and worked hard. At last, Nutu understood his fault and came to his old values.
