Khokon Chowdhury, a rich but troubled businessman, ignores his young wife Soma because of painful memories from his childhood, and his suspicion turns violent when he finds a letter from her old lover, Shishir. Broken by loneliness, fear, and guilt, Soma accidentally kills her husband, is rejected by Shishir, and finally takes her own life.
