Tyag' is the story of brother and sister Bijoy and Pooja. Bijoy loves his sister a lot. Bijoy falls in love with Anjali and gives her shelter in his house. Bijoy gets Pooja married to Avik but problems crop up when Avik's family ants Bijoy to marry Avik's sister, Rupa. Pooja goes back to her brother's house. Bijoy is ready to sacrifice his love for Pooja. Tension between both the families is gradually resolved. Bijoy marries Anjali and Rupa marries Suman.
