Bilambito Lay' is a story of love and relationships. Bichitra meets Chetan and Sajal on a vacation. They become friends. Bichitra secretly falls in love with Chetan. Chetan on the other hand chooses Bichitra for his elder brother Ketan and introduces them. Bichitra and Ketan get married and are blessed with a daughter. But, Ketan suddenly dies in an accident one day. Ketan's mother decides to get Bichitra married to Chetan as they were close friends. But, Chetan keeps himself away from Bichitra even after marriage and their relation remains strained for a long time. Bichitra speaks to Chetan one day and confesses her feelings for him. They decide to start their life afresh.
