The villagers of Kurigram protest when Raja Babu bans all types of religious activities. His wife Jasodha, who is a true devotee of Maa Tara, hides the truth from him. After 15 years he's attacked by the boy whom he had tortured. He's fatally injured but Yasodha helps him get back his life with the power of her prayers. She sacrifices her life for him. Radhakanta renounces his family life and becomes an ascetic who guides people to the path of devotion.
