Laltu is a brilliant student who dropped out of college due to financial problems. Later on Mr. Beni Madhav gets impressed by his literary talent and gets his book published. He meets Mallika, the daughter of his father's friend and his boss, who falls in love with Laltu's book, 'Samaj'. This leads to a misunderstanding between Laltu and Mallika, but they are reunited.
