Teesta Parer Kaanya tells the love story of Udasu and Kusum, who marry and get a family. However, Nurul Miaan and Madhav ruin their lives. Udasu kills Nurul, and Kusum kills him to avenge her husband's death. Their spirit is still found wandering in the Teesta valley.
